Art Johnson

READERS not familiar with the Control Line Navy Carrier event need to know that this reporter is the "other" Art Johnson. To put the record straight I am not Col. Art Johnson of RC Scale fame. Once again the Carrier event was flown on a circle adjacent to the AMA Nationals Headquarters tent. One of the roads leading to the main entrance of the flying area on Westover AFB ran along the west side of the circles. I was amazed by the ability of this event to draw and hold spectators. On several occasions the other competitors and I took a little time to explain the event to the spectators.
