RC Combat - 2012/03
We are only a few months into the New Year, but a number of
Combat events have already been held. That is one advantage
of living in the South; the weather is great for flying year-round.
But, before I get into this year, let’s look back at 2011 and see how
everyone did.
Radio Control Combat - 2008/09
THIS YEAR HAS been great for me! I have
enjoyed getting a chance to fly some types of
RC Combat other than Slow Survivable
(SSC). The 2548 Zero I flew in Florida has
done well, and I have some Open B Avengers
I plan to fly in the Nats in Muncie, Indiana.
But when it comes to my favorite type of
Combat, I enjoy SSC the most.

AS WE START the new year, there is one issue that everyone appears
to be watching. This past year saw the end of the O.S. 25FX. This great
Combat engine was reasonably priced and turned up a good rpm. O.S.
has since come out with the 25AX, but there have been questions about
its ability to produce the rpm needed for our event.
I looked into some other engines out there and found a few great
