IN JULY 1977, I
wrote an article titled
“Quick-Pit” that was

Workshop organization
THE BEAUTY OF being involved in a
hobby/sport that involves miniature aircraft
and engines is that you can work on the
airplanes in a small amount of space. Many
aeromodelers have to share space in the
basement with washers, dryers, and stored
holiday-decoration boxes.

have passed away. I don’t know of any documents, books, or magazines that tell
what it was like in those early years.
