You will need an incidence meter and a throw
meter. Meter reading is only used as a
baseline to let you know where you began and
to make adjustments according to what your
model requires to fly true.

THE 2010 ETOC was held at Central
Catholic High School in Toledo, Ohio. At
the end of the first night of competition, R.J.
Gritter was leading the pack, followed
closely by Jason Noll, Donatas Pauzoulis,
Seth Arnold, Gernot Bruckmann, Andrew
Jesky, and Ryan
Clark. This group
comprises the top
indoor fliers in the
world.

THIS MONTH WE will have a short
review of Extreme Flight RC’s new
release. We will also go into more depth
about preparing for a national competition
such as the AMA Nats.
In addition, we’ll throw out, for your
consideration, a couple of indoor RC
Aerobatics (Pattern) designs to fly during
the cold months some of us have ahead.
Because of a time conflict, we will
continue with Bryan Hebert’s trimming
methods in a following issue.

IN THIS EDITION of “Radio Control
Aerobatics,” we will cover the 2009 RC
Aerobatics (Pattern) Nationals. We will
also begin a multiple-part series during
the course of the next few articles called
“Tame that Dog” (trimming your
airplane). To get to the best source of
trimming, we will go to those aircraft
designers known as airplane
“Whisperers.”
