Control Line Scale - 2007/10
THE SCALE Contest Board ratified an emergency rules-change
proposal that will have an impact on all CL Scale flying. The
change revises the table that specifies what the pull test should be
for all CL Scale models at various weights and line lengths.
There is also a table that lists lap times for various line lengths,
assuming the model’s speed to be 60 mph.

The Eiben/Hubin multichannel electronic control system
IN THE FEBRUARY 2009 column, I featured a multichannel
electronic control system by Al Cargil of Warwick, Pennsylvania.
It could be used with either electric- or glow-powered models.
CONTROL LINE SCALE - 2008/04
THE GREAT-LOOKING Piper Twin Comanche shown in this
month’s column is the fine work of Joe Sroczyk of Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania. It has a wingspan of 72 inches, a length of 48 inches,
and it weighs 15 pounds. Joe constructed the Comanche from a Jack
Stafford kit, and it is powered with two SuperTigre .51 engines.

1/2A Twin Profile contest rules
THANKS TO Frank Beatty of Granite City, Illinois, I can provide
you with results of the special 1/2A Twin Profile Scale competition
held at the Broken Arrow 22 Stunt and Scale Contest. The Broken
Arrow was held September 26-27, 2009, in Missouri.
