District I Report - 2003/09
MOHAWK AIRLINES Gaslight Service:
In my column last month, these two
pictures of Paul Johnson’s DC-3 were
shown and I promised to provide more
information about the aircraft.
District I Report - 2003/08
MAINE SCALE Shoot-out: This will be
the 11th year for this event. The dates this
year are August 1, 2, and 3, 2003.
District I Report - 2004/08
THIS MONTH I’ll share some pictures
from last year’s State of Maine Scale
Shootout. (I realize that I said that there
would be pictures from the 495th Scale
Show, however I said probably.)
District I Report - 2005/02
SEPTEMBER 11, 2001: This was a terrible
day for the United States, one that we will
not forget. The 495th R/C Squadron chose to
remember this day by dedicating the name
of its flying site to one of the pilots
involved, Captain John Ogonoski.
Captain Ogonoski was a resident of
Dracut, Massachusetts, a local farmer, and a
respected member of the community.
