airplanes they power are quicker to construct,
less costly, and easier to transport than giantscale
types. Probably for those reasons, model
power plants with .25 through .46 cu. in.
displacements have long been the most
popular varieties for RC flying.

two new products
have shown that either can quickly get rid of the most stubborn muck,
grime, and baked-on “varnish” that model engines acquire, one of
which is the newly reformulated Demon-Clean (DC).

why this type of model
engine—his favorite—never became popular in the US. He also
noted that even in Europe, long a stronghold of model diesel usage,
its popularity has declined considerably.
