Free Flight Indoor - 2007/10

LIMITED PENNYPLANE (LPP) is one
of the best classes for newcomers to fly to
get their feet wet in Indoor FF, and it is a
great low-stress event for more experienced
fliers. Its popularity speaks for itself; LPP
regularly attracts a large number of entrants
at meets such as the recent US Indoor
Championships (USIC).

NFFS Indoor Committee - 2012/07

The latest incarnation of the National Free Flight Society (NFFS) Indoor FF
Committee has kicked into gear. Members include Brett Sanborn, Jim Buxton,
Kang Lee, Bill Gowen, Larry Coslick, and me. The group’s charter is to support
and promote Indoor Free Flight through NFFS, Indoor’s of cial AMA SIG. Easy
enough, right?

FREE FLIGHT INDOOR - 2008/04

THE INDOOR COMMUNITY lost a wellrespected
member, tireless supporter, and
good friend when Vernon Hacker passed
away this winter. Known affectionately as
“Doc” or “Hack” (he was both a surgeon and
a golfer), he loved model airplanes and flew
them his whole life. He enjoyed competing
but was even more known for the support,
guidance, and encouragement he gave to
many in the hobby.
