Phoenix Model introduces its Genesis 50-size sport scale ARF as a model of the “most successful aircraft in racing history.” Any conversations about air racing history inevitably lead to the Reno National Championship Air Races. Held annually since 1964, this event is rooted in the historic Cleveland Air Races of the 1920s, '30s and '40s.
AMA Expo 2015 - 2015/04
This year marked the 15th year that the AMA has wooed winter-weary modelers to Ontario, California, for its annual exposition and trade show. Held at the spacious and conveniently situated Ontario Convention Center each year in January, the Expo is a great place for enthusiastic modelers to gain glimpses of the new and upcoming products, network with fellow hobbyists and industry insiders, and even purchase some must-have, cool new products.
E-flite Carbon-Z Yak 54 3X BNF - 2015/03
I can’t begin a review of this aircraft without first giving a nod to its predecessor, the E-flite Carbon-Z Yak 54. Although it stayed on my wish list of models for many months, I only managed to enjoy it vicariously through the posts and videos of others.

The Blade 350 QX2 AP Combo is a turnkey, complete aerial media platform. This package is anchored by the Blade 350 QX—a quadcopter product line originally debuted by Blade in 2013. The original Blade 350 QX was capable of hauling a GoPro-size action camera aloft, with the camera attached to the underside of the quadcopter with a basic antivibration isolation mount.
