In The Air
On April 3, 2009, the Claude McCullough Estate made a
donation to the AMA for the construction of a new educational
multipurpose facility. The groundbreaking, held July 6, marked
the beginning of this exciting phase for the National Model
Aviation Museum.
Now, with the project’s completion in sight, we look forward
to providing improved traditional and nontraditional educational
programming.

Model Aviation is in your hands, the events
surrounding the 100th anniversary of the
Wright brothers’ historic flight will have
concluded.

THE END of the year is nearly here, and
while many might think this is a slow time
for the National Model Aviation Museum, it
is quite the opposite. Behind the scenes, the
museum staff utilizes the off-season to work
on a variety of projects that they are unable
to complete during the spring and summer
months.
