District X - 2010/08
ON SATURDAY, April 24, the Sonoran
Desert Flyers, Inc., an electric RC club from
Oro Valley, a northwest suburb of Tucson,

FLYING SITE Improvement Grants are
awarded each year to clubs that make
improvements to their flying fields or
during their efforts to build new ones. This
year six District X clubs were awarded
these grants.

AS YOUR District X vice president, I
believe it is part of my job to get to know
our district, our clubs, and our members as
best I possibly can. Because of that and
requests from members and clubs, I decided
to take my first official trip through parts of
the district. This article is about that first
trip. As I traveled, I learned it was even
more important to the membership than I
originally thought.
