RADIO CONTROL GIANTS 2003/08
I WILL start by showing the progress of my Aviomodelli CANT
Z.1007 bomber kit that I introduced in last month’s column. I have
also selected three new accessories from Sullivan Products, Maxx
Products, and Du-Bro Products that you might find helpful in your
Radio Control (RC) Giant. I will end with a Gold Edition Giant
Scale TopFlite P-47 built by Joe Wcela of Bohemia, New York.

THE GASOLINE ENGINES we typically use in our larger RC
models generally use some version of the ubiquitous Walbro
carburetor. Used in overwhelming numbers of two-stroke gaspowered
weed whackers, chain saws, and other small landscape and
gardening
equipment, the
Walbro carburetor is
easy to use and
adjust and is
extremely reliable.

I ATTENDED the 50th anniversary of the
Weak Signals’ show held in early April at the
SeaGate Convention Centre in Toledo, Ohio.
Since the show is fresh in my mind (and I
happen to have another column due), I thought
that I would write about some of the neat
products I saw there.
