Control Line Aerobatics - 2007/11
AS I PROMISED in the last column, I
will cover what models are out there in
plan form that would make good CL
Aerobatics (Stunt) trainers and fit our
intended building/flying project. I’m going
to prune down the list to those that are
fairly easy to build (and repair) and still fit
into the project philosophy I am going to
promote.

BEFORE WE GET back to the essential shop items required for

I DON’T CLEARLY remember attending
my first national model airplane competition,
or Nats. Hey, it was 1953 and I was only 5
years old! My father and my older brother
attended the entire week, and my mother took
me there to watch the last day of competition
and the fabulous weekend air show which
featured the Blue Angels.

... Dean has the assignment to show how we are all connected by modeling.
This is an editorial I have wanted to
write for MA for several years. I have
finally been able to bring onboard as
a columnist a man whom I consider to be not
only among the smartest people I know, but
also one of the most model-airplane-savvy
individuals I’ve yet to meet.
