I HAVE PERIODICALLY asked Steve Brown about the hangars at
Santa Ana MCIF. His answers have grown steadily more gloomy.
Apparently the hangars, once one of the world’s best sites, had
collapsed, probably from lack of repairs.

RECORD: Bob Wilder has again taken
the lead in event 627: Indoor Electric
Duration (Radio Control). At the
UniDome in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, he had a
flight of 20:57—a substantial increase
over the previous record time in that
event.
