View From HQ - 2009/09

The 27th Joe Nall Fly-In is in the
books. This Giant Scale fly-in is
one of the largest modeling events
in the nation. A record number of pilots
attended and this year’s expanded
flightline was so large that shuttle bus
service was provided so attendees could
move between venues.

View From HQ - 2009/08

The “View from HQ” is supposed to
be just that: the happenings in your
AMA Headquarters, here in
Muncie, Indiana. Those of you who make
it to the last page in Model Aviation on a
regular basis know that sometimes I tend
to drift from the HQ view to what is
happening in the Academy as a whole.

View From HQ - 2009/07

If the recession has hit southeast
Georgia, you couldn’t tell it by the 487
pilots participating in the Southeast
Electric Flight Festival (SEFF) that was
held April 30-May 3, 2009, in Americus,
Georgia. The Fayette Flyers of Atlanta,
Georgia, and volunteers from many other
clubs put on one of America’s premier
electric-flight events.
