Jack Patterson is the club’s president. Jack
explained to me that the club encourages
young people to get involved in flying model
airplanes. Persons under 18 are allowed in
free. Currently the club has 15 free members.

ATTENDED the West Tennessee Radio
Control (RC) Flyers’ Toys for Tots Fly-in

brought with it a blanket of cold air.

I ATTENDED and stayed all day at the
Jacksonville, Florida, Control Line (CL)
Rebel Rally sponsored by the Coastal Control
Liners. Gene Martine was the contest director
(CD). Gene acquired the Whitehouse Naval

strip is 11/2 miles long and 300 feet wide.
District V Report - 2003/04
I ATTENDED the Gateway Radio Control
Club Swap Meet and Fly-In. Chas Brooks was
the Contest Director. This fine organization is
our Club of the Month for December. It has
been in existence for 40 years.
District V Report - 2004/02
I ATTENDED the Thermal Thumbers of
Metro Atlanta’s Last Fling Till Spring contest
held at Whitesburg, Georgia. It was an
interesting affair. Radio Control (RC)
enthusiasts can stay in model airplanes for
years and then, maybe, try something else.
