I ATTENDED the fourth annual Wings
Over Venice Giant Scale Fun-fly under
International Model Aircraft Association
(IMAA) rules. Allen Wilder was the CD.

THE UPPER CUMBERLAND Radio
Control Society conducted its annual Electric
Fun-Fly. Ronald Hankins was the contest
director (CD). Held in Cookeville, Tennessee,
the event was open to all forms of electricpowered
aircraft. The Cumberland club has a
nice field in the middle of a tree farm.
District V Report - 2004/05
Last year I created a Who’s Who in AMA
District V and finally all the pieces have
come together. Book I was for 2003. It is a
bound pamphlet with 56 entries, most
featuring a picture in color, of their partial
life stories in modeling. This picture below
shows a framed list of these modelers. It is
hanging with honor in AMA Headquarters.
The plaque is approximately 8 x 18 inches.
District V Report - 2003/10
TWO CLUBS ARE Clubs of the Month this
month. First the Columbia RC Flying
Modelers in Tennessee. I attended the club’s
big, three-day Tennessee Jets meet. What I
saw there I almost could not believe. I still
can’t believe it.
