DICK CARVILLE of Lowell,
Massachusetts, sent me the following
interesting story of the gain when the spirit
of camaraderie is practiced between two
clubs. In this instance, it has resulted in a
happy coexistence for two modeling clubs.
What is interesting is that one club, the
New England Stunt Team flying club, is a
CL club and the other, the 107th R/C Flyers,
is an RC club. The two have become a
happy pair.

era has been created in the growth and interest of flying model
airplanes indoors. These are not rubber powered—although they
could be as in the past indoor activity—but are powered with

FOR THE PURPOSE of safe flying, spotters are often required
by club rules when flying. The purpose of a spotter is to increase
the safety of fellow members and spectators. A spotter does not
have to be a good flier; however, the spotter should have some
knowledge of model aviation and have sufficient training that
goes along with responsibility. Communication and teamwork are
the key factor
