I was lucky enough this to go to the Toledo R/C Expo in April where the quarterly AMA Executive Council meeting was held. The Toledo Show is always a good time to see new products and prototypes (see RedWing R/C’s Facebook page to see what I preordered), as well as great deals on the second floor at the swap meet.

Finally, flying weather is back with us. I hope that by now everyone has cycled their batteries and had a chance to get out and do some flying.

February is a short month and seems like this weather is never going to break. It’s been a long, hard winter.

As I’m writing this, January was a busy month. Before to attending the AMA Expo and Executive Council meeting that both took place in Ontario, California, I attended a club meeting in Kansas City. While there, I presented a plaque to Dusty Riley, for obtaining the Missouri state proclamation for National Model Aviation Day. Additionally, I presented Associate Vice President Gary Himes with a pin for supporting the AMA Foundation.
