District IX Report - 2004/04
NEWS FROM KANSAS: On October 18 of
last year, the Shawnee Mission Radio Control
Club (SMRCC) put on a static display and
flying demonstration for more than 1,000
Boy Scouts and their families at their annual
District Camporee which focused on 100
Years of Aviation. Rich Waeltermann, vice
president of SMRCC, coordinated the event
with the Boy Scout officials.
