RADIO CONTROL SCALE 2003/11

THE ONE EIGHTH Air Force club out in Arizona really knows
how to hold any event having to do with Scale models, from
competition to a great fly-in. This is a place to get together, see old
friends, make new friends, eat too much steak, tell tall stories, fly
models, and go home happy, wondering where the weekend went
and when you’ll get to do it again.

Radio Control Scale - 2008/09

IN WRITING this column, I often learn new and exciting
information or am able to help other Scale modelers with
different aspects of their projects. Reports filter in from Scale
events across the country, and I try to attend as many as my
schedule will allow. Then there are times when I find out about
an airplane I never knew existed, which can be a treat for Scale
modelers.

Radio Control Scale - 2010/06

THE CORRECT placement and types of markings on a Scale
model can make or break the presentation of a full-scale airplane
in miniature. The markings for the Piper PA-11 that I am working
on are simple.
The N-number is on the upper and lower wing, and the Nnumber
and logos from the manufacturer are on the vertical
stabilizer. But how does a modeler get the markings placed
correctly, use the proper font size, etc.?
