Dump'r - 2003/10
Dump’r is a relatively simple device that
safely discharges four- to 18-cell
Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd) and Nickel
Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries at a fixed
1⁄2-amp rate. Discharge is initiated with the
push of a button and automatically
terminates when the pack reaches the
equivalent of .9 volt per cell. Dump’r
requires no external power and, other than
setting the “cell count” switch, needs no
adjustment or calibration
