BOWLING GREEN, KENTUCKY: Club
1158, the Southern Kentucky Model Aero
Club, was invited to give a lecture at Drakes
Creek Middle School on RC planes and
Aviation during science day.
District VI - 2009/08
PEKIN, ILLINOIS: Club 755, the Pekin
R/C Club, held its second annual World War
I fly-in. The weatherman had predicted rain
and storms, but as dawn appeared the
weather cleared and flying began.
AMA News: District VI-2007/02
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: The Paducah
Aero Modelers held its third Demo Day. At
the first one there were approximately 90
cars, the second one hosted roughly 120,
and at this year’s event, 135 autos were
present, filled with families.

SUGAR GROVE, ILLINOIS: At the
Treetown Modelaires annual Midwest
Regional Championships, I had the
privilege of giving Glenn Lee his plaque
placing him in the Model Aviation Hall of
Fame. Speed is his game, and his many
records attest to that.
District VI - 2009/07
AURORA, ILLINOIS: Club 917, the
Treetown Modelaires, held its annual contest
at the Aurora airport west of Chicago.
