AMA News: District II-2007/12
IN THE October 2007 issue of MA I wrote
about a partnership with the Civil Air Patrol
we’ve begun to develop in our district. New
Jersey was the location of this year’s first
event hosted by the Mercer County Radio
Control Society (MCRCS) and the
Washington’s Crossing RC Flyers
Association.

an aviation enthusiast. Events are taking
place throughout the country
commemorating the first 100 years of
manned flight. Our members and clubs are
participating in many of these events.
Charles Stager, president of the Pine
Barren Modelers, sent this about an event in
which his club participated.

MOST AMA CLUBS in our district do a
good job promoting what we do to our
neighbors and introducing model aviation
to younger members of our communities.
Efforts such as these become a significant
advantage to us when we find ourselves
faced with the loss of a flying site.
District II Report - 2003/10
FINALLY! Here it is near the end of June
and we finally had a weekend in District II
without rain. I used the opportunity to visit
the Jersey Coast RC Club’s (JCRCC) third
annual “any-size” Warbird Fly-In in Wall
Township, New Jersey. The event was
cosponsored by JCRCC and the 91st Bomb
Group of the World Miniature Warbird
Association
President’s Perspective - 2011/04
Consumers today are conscious of
value proposition when making
purchases. Buyers want to know
they’re getting their money’s
worth when they purchase a product.
That’s pretty easy to do when the product
is tangible. It’s not quite as easy to do if
the product is intangible—something you
can’t put your hands on.
