Control Line Navy Carrier - 2009/10
SINCE THE RULES changed, and the
Sterling Guardian has become outdated for
Navy Carrier competition, there has been
more or less a continuing question about
the availability of a kit that can be used for
our events. A couple of profile MO-1 kits
have been highly competitive, and Brodak
still offers the Bob Smurthwaite Bearcat
and Skyraider.
CONTROL LINE NAVY CARRIER - 2004/11
AS I WRITE this, the 2004 Control Line
World Championships is history, as is the
CL Navy Carrier demonstration that the
Navy Carrier Society hosted during the
event. The competition consisted of AMA
Profile Carrier and Class I Carrier, with a
10% fuel requirement. The latter was held
to encourage CL modelers from other
countries who were attending the World
Championships to try the event.
