THE ORIGINAL rubber-powered
Stringless Wonder is an intriguing, kitelike
aircraft that Bill Hannan designed and Peck-
Polymers kitted in 1973. Bill Pardoe won the
Northrop Flying Wing Contest with it, with
a five-minute flight.
This model is still available as a stickand-
tissue kit. It’s a quick build that can
provide hours of free flight fun.
Cermark Fantasy Racer - 2012/02
THE FANTASY RACER was inspired by Italian artist
Mirco Pecoran’s Gee Bee R-3. Three versions are
available. The RTF (ready-to-fly) is complete with radio
system and battery. The BNF (bind-and-fly) version is
minus the radio and receiver, and the other version, used
in this review, is the PNP (plug-and-play) that lets you
use your radio system and battery.

twin and sport aircraft in the Platinum
Series.” Models in this E-flite line have a
higher level of prefabrication, with features
such as prehinged control surfaces and
installed control horns. Completed, you have
an impressive aircraft.
