District X - 2012/12

I attended the US Free Flight
Championships, which were held
at the Lost Hills FF Model Airfield
in California’s Central Valley. I am
impressed by the skills on display at a
FF contest. If you’ve never been to one,
you owe yourself the treat of attending.

District X-2011/09

ONE OF THE nicest Pattern contests in our
district is held each year at the Radio
Control Flyers Unlimited field just outside
of Oakdale, California, at the Woodward
Reservoir. It’s a beautiful site and one of my
favorite contests of the year.

District X - 2012/07

One of my favorite things to do as
your district vice president is to attend
monthly meetings and flying events in
our district. So, I was happy to oblige
Mike Stone and the Gilman Springs RC
Flyers when they invited me to the club’s
World War I fly-in.

District X - 2012/09

The 2012 season of Giant Scale
Pylon Racing has officially ended
with another nail-biting three-race
season coming down to the last race
of the year to crown the new series
champions. Some of the closest racing
heats ever recorded were witnessed
during this 17th season.
