District III - 2012/03

2011 Hamburg Jet Jamboree
The Farview R/C Flyers of Hamburg,
Pennsylvania, held its fifth annual
Hamburg Jet Jamboree at Grim’s
Airpark October 6-9, 2011. The event
coordinator was Lee Buskirk and the
CDs were Rick Boyer and Erik Rudjord.

District III - 2012/02

HELLO DISTRICT III!
As you probably know, much has
changed in terms of AMA officers for the
new year. The biggest being our own Bob
Brown is now AMA president. In addition
to Bob being elected our new president, he
also was reelected as vice president in
District III. Holding two offices at the same
time isn’t allowed, so someone must attempt
to fill Bob’s large shoes. That’s where I
come in.

I would like to begin this month by
announcing a new addition for the
modelers of District III: www.amadistrictiii.
com.
This website is designed to be a
positive communication tool for
the modelers in District III to share
information. One of the main goals is
for you to list your upcoming events
specific to District III. This will allow
our members to visit the website and
see all the events that are happening
within Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West
Virginia. We encourage you to send in
newsworthy events and pictures that
can be posted to the homepage of the
District III website
