District VIII Report - 2004/05
On January 4, while driving through to
attend the AMA Convention 2004 (formerly
the IMS show), I visited a midwinter Pylon

PLEASE NOTE below the new date for the
Southwestern Aeromodeling Conference,
October 3-4, 2003. All AMA members are
cordially invited to attend this event. Keynote
speakers will include Wes DeCou, AMA
Flying Site Assistance Coordinator, and
Special Services Director Carl Maroney.

THE MODEL AVIATORS of South
Arkansas, AMA club 3185, held its Fall
2005 Fly-In. The below photo is of all of the
registered pilots.
District VIII - 2006/09
THE JR AERO TOW sailplane event took
place May 31-June 4, 2006 in Monticello,
Illinois, at the Monticello Airport. Michael
