District VIII Report - 2005/02

ON SEPTEMBER 25, 2004 in Seagoville,
Texas, the Dallas RC Club hosted the 14th
Annual Small Steps event. The fly-in was
limited to aircraft with .26 or smaller
engines or equivalent power source and .30
four-strokes models.
The flying site was the beautiful city-of-
Dallas-owned Simons Lake Park in
Seagoville. Michael Sandling (548 Rea,
Lancaster TX 75146; [972] 227-2023
evenings) was the event CD.

District VIII - 2006/07

ON FEBRUARY 25-26, 2006, the OKC
3-D Extreme Challenge Indoor Electric
Aircraft Competition and Fun-Fly was held
at the 45th Infantry Armory in Oklahoma
City, Oklahoma. The event was sponsored
by Futaba, Great Planes, Electrafly, Mike’s
Models of Oklahoma City, and the main
sponsor, Hobby Lobby, International.
