District VIII Report - 2005/03
OCTOBER 8-10, 2004, in New Waverly,
Texas, the Tri-County Barnstormers club
held its second annual Electri-Fly. The CD
was Kirk Jensen (21722 Greenham, Spring
TX 77388; Tel.: [281] 355-9502 (eve.); Email:
[email protected]).
The event was held at beautiful Ray
Brickhouse flying field in New Waverly
(near Houston), Conroe, and Huntsville,
Texas. Though there was some rain, there
were record entries and all of the fliers and
spectators had a great time!
District VIII - 2006/10
RACE OVER RANTOUL 2006: On June
22-25, the Unlimited Scale Racing
Association (USRA), an AMA Special
Interest Group, launched the 2006 Giant
Scale Racing season at Rantoul, Illinois. The
was event was hosted by Horizon Hobbies.

Society’s (LARKS) early-year fun-fly. It was
held March 15-16, 2003. All types and sizes
of aircraft were welcome.
