EARLIER THIS YEAR, I was made aware
of an outstanding AMA club that had
achieved such success in improving and
operation of their landfill/flying site, that the
EPA awarded them the Region 4 Excellence
in Site Reuse Award. Club President Scott
Kantrowitz accepted the award for the
Tampa Radio Control Aircraft Club
(TRAC).

HI, AGAIN! As I’m writing this, the weather around the country
has been bad! The struggles that the city of Dallas, Texas, had with
snow and ice during the Super Bowl is indicative of what many parts
of the country have been going through.

Modelers (RAMS) Cub Scout Day. I was
able to drive down and attend the Flagler
RAMS club Cub Scout Day at the club’s
wonderful flying site in the Palm Coast,
Florida area.
