I ATTENDED the Southeast Electric Flight
Festival (SEFF) held in Americus, Georgia,
on May 2-3. This year’s event had more than
300 pilots entered for the celebration of
electric flight.

HI, EVERYONE! It’s hard to believe we are already in the
middle of the 2011 flying season. Things are getting pretty hot
here in Southeast Georgia, so flying in the morning or evening is
the rule.

THE RIDGE BARNSTORMERS of Lake
Wales hosted the fifth Central Florida
Control Line Fly-In Thanksgiving weekend,
November 29, at the George Breen Field in
Lake Wales, Florida. The event was a
success and was attended by fliers from
across Florida.

ON SEPTEMBER 13, I lost my wife
Christy to breast cancer. I want to thank
everyone who called, sent cards and letters,
sent flowers, or made a donation in my
wife’s name to the American Cancer
Society!
