Flying Site Assistance-2011/07
HI, EVERYONE! The flying season is
heating up and I hope you are enjoying it!
I received some good news from the
Ute Radio Control Association. The club
lost a flying field, but the Salt Lake City
Parks and Recreation Department is
building the members a new flying site!
District V - 2006/03
THE WINTER has been fairly mild so far
here in the Southeast. There has been lots of
great flying weather around the area and
many modelers are taking full advantage of
it. With a very busy season ahead, I look
forward to meeting more of you this year.
AMA News: District V-2007/03
The AMA Convention was held January 12-14 at the Ontario Convention Center in Ontario,
California. This year’s show was well attended and offered a number of new products.
District V - 2006/02
I STILL WANT to hear from District V
clubs that are interested in hosting a major flyin
in 2006. I have one scheduled in Mobile,
Alabama, but I am looking for three or four
more clubs to contact me and host an event. I
will have some funds available for the club to
help in this effort!
Flying Site Assistance - 2011/02
I AM WRITING this column while returning from
Denver, Colorado, where I attended the National
League of Cities Expo. This event was similar to the
National Recreation and Parks Expo I wrote about
last month.
