District V Report - 2009/09
THE GOONEY BIRDS’ Spring Fly-In
was held in Florence, South Carolina, on
June 13, 2009. CD Sam Smith registered 56
pilots for the fly-in on a hot, very humid,
94° day.
Diatrict V Report - 2009/08
APRIL 25, 2009, was the date for the
Spring All Scale Fly-In at Azalea City R/C
in Mobile, Alabama. What a fly-in!
AMA News: District V-2007/02
I AM BUSY finalizing the locations and dates
of the 2007 AMA District V fly-ins. I have
decided to have four this year and I will
announce the location and dates in the next
issue of MA, so please stay tuned!
District V - 2009/07
THE JACKSON FLYERS Association
(JFA) hosted a fly-in on April 18, 2009. The
Jackson Flyers Association, one of the
oldest AMA chartered clubs in South
Carolina, welcomed 39 registered pilots to
the club’s flying site, deep in the piney
woods on the US Army’s Fort Jackson
Reservation in Columbia, South Carolina.
