District V - 2008/08
AS THE SUMMER heats up here in the
Southeast, so does the flying! I have been
busy attending events and meeting Disrict V
members. I am also managing to get in some
RC flying of my own every now and then!
Here are a couple of reports from
associate vice presidents Ron Van Putte and
Roger Marshall.

Flying Site Assistance - 2011/05
HI, AGAIN! I’m writing this in early March after returning from
my annual visit to the Southeastern Modelers Show in Perry,
Georgia.

Although the turnout for the Flying
Griffins Toys For Tots event could have
been better, the event raised more than $400
for the charity. Not bad at all, for a doublehandful
of club members just having fun on
a near-perfect autumn day.
District V - 2006/11
I AM EXCITED to report that we will be
voting on a new Executive Director for
AMA at the October Executive Council
(EC) meeting. A committee from the EC has
done a wonderful job of going through the
more-than-60 résumés. The members of this
committee have cut the number of
candidates to three.
