Ted Brito, contacted me regarding
his club’s participation in the New
Bedford Regional Airport’s Aviation
Fun Day, scheduled for May 18,
2012.
AMA News District I - 2007/08
WANTED: We need a new District I
Webmaster. Please contact me if you’re
interested.
There are things in life that we must do such
as attending weddings, funerals, and
graduations. If your hobby is building and
flying RC airplanes, going to the Joe Nall
event in May at the Triple Tree Aerodrome in
South Carolina is one of those things.
District I - 2010/12
BESIDES THE events that I attend and
write about in this column, I receive event
reports from district associate vice
presidents (AVPs), club officers, and SIGs.
AMA News District I - 2012/10
It has been a few years since I reported
on the Propsnappers R/C Club of
Portland, Maine, and its participation
in Aviation Career Exploration (ACE)
Camp programs. Frank Maguire sent
event photos and information about this
summer’s ACE Camp.
District I Report - 2007/11
MOST AMA members are aware that much
of the work done by the Executive Council
and the AMA president is accomplished
through committees.
Changing demographics, competing
recreational activities, and longer working
hours have resulted in a declining
membership for many associations. To
combat the decline in AMA membership the
AMA Membership Development Committee
was established.
