District I - 2011/04

I AM HAPPY to say that more district
club members have been sending me
reports of their club’s aermodeling events
for publication in this column. The
following report comes from the Green
Mountain State of Vermont and was sent to
me by Dave Dress, the secretary and
treasurer of his club.

District I Report - 2010/06

NEW ENGLAND states were the hardest hit
by the rainstorm and flooding of March 29
through 31. Rainfall total was highest in Rhode
Island with 9.97 inches.
I bring this up because my club’s access
road to the flying field is ½ mile in length and
sustained considerable damage. In numerous
sections, there are washouts across the road
making passage to the flying field impossible.

District I - 2010/10

IN KEEPING with its mission to promote
and encourage the hobby of building and
flying model airplanes, the Propsnappers
R/C Club (PRCC) of Portland, Maine, took
part in the Aviation Career Exploration
(ACE) Academy Camp program on July 27.

AMA News: District 1 - 2008/03

WE OFTEN take for granted the efforts of
AMA members who give of their time to
assume the responsibilities as officers of
their club’s and those individuals who are
always there to address issues, solve
problems, or participate in events and
activities. These special people who work on
the club’s behalf may seldom receive due
recognition for the contributions they make.
