Within the AMA community, there are special members who frequently volunteer to take on responsibilities and perform activities that make the sport of aeromodeling better for everyone.
District I - 2012/12
Ray Labonte, District I associate vice
president, contacted me in October 2011
to discuss his plans for the 2012 Maine
Jet Rally. Ray decided to expand the
District I Report - 2005/05
IN MID-FEBRUARY, I attended the
AMA Strategic Planning meeting. This
meeting was only the beginning of the
process to identify and explore areas of
focus for short- and long-term goals.
The goals discussed will be evaluated
by the executive committee and staff and
plans will be formulated to accomplish the
objectives. I will provide more specific
information on the District I Web site as it
becomes available.
District I-2011/09
IT’S ALL IN the planning. Running a
successful event to promote the sport of
aeromodeling requires a good plan. This
should begin by identifying the target
audience you intend to appeal to and then
selecting the best ways to attract, educate,
and engage the attendees
District II Report - 2008/05
IN NEW ENGLAND, except for indoor
aeromodeling activities and those who
enjoy flying off the snow and ice, the
flying season for most of us is just
beginning.
