THE CAPITAL AREA Flyers of
Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, performed
for numerous spectators at the club’s recent
open house. Two trainer airplanes were set
up for anyone interested in trying to fly.

THIS YEAR’S 53rd annual Toledo Expo
is April 13-15 at the SeaGate Centre in
Toledo, Ohio. This is by far the largest RC
show in the world. For additional

WE HAVE a Fédération Aéronautique
Internationale (FAI) World Champion
within District III. Bob Sifleet of Glen Rock,
Pennsylvania, won the F1E Free Flight (FF)
World Championship in Cluj-Napoca,
Romania!
District III - 2009/07
AT THE RECENT Weak Signals R/C Expo
(Toledo Show), Joe David was presented the
AMA District Service Award. Joe is the only
surviving charter member of the original nine
people who started the Weak Signals. The
other eight were Wes DeLong, Marv
Ellsworth, George Flick, Don Gall, Jim Gall,
Ray Gall, Gary Gordon, and Jim Howlington.
