District XI Report -2004/12
SATURDAY, JUNE 26, dawned calm and
clear. The Helena Flying Tigers’ first
Helicopter Fly-In was off to a good start.
Things got even better when the crew from
Heliproz showed up with a Raptor-50 with
an engine to be raffled off by the club. Thank
you, Eric!

I AM PLEASED to announce that we have
two new associate vice presidents (AVPs) for
District XI.

THE PROJECT: At a Red Apple Flyer
banquet in February 2002, the beginnings of
the Spirit of Wenatchee project were first
brought to the attention of a group of model
airplane builders from Moses Lake. During
the May 2002 Apple Blossom festival, this
group from the Moses Lake club visited the
Spirit of Wenatchee’s Pangborn field
headquarters.
