AMA News-District XI - 2009/01
AT THE TIME of this writing, things are
kind of quiet around the area. Fall usually
allows for some good flying, but this year
we have had quite a bit of wind, grounding
many of us.
District XI Report - 2003/06
SAFETY FIRST, last, and always! I
strongly recommend that all clubs contact
their emergency responders and their local
911 center with directions to the flying site.
Include GPS information to aid in a faster
response in case of emergency
District XI Report - 2003/05
FEBRUARY 1 and 2 found many area
fliers at Puyallup, Washington, for the
Northwest Model Expo. This year’s event
was well attended, and the Mt. Rainier
Radio Control Society did its usual fine job
of putting this together.

THE BAY AREA Radio Control (RC)
Fliers in Coos Bay, Oregon, had its annual
awards banquet on December 13, 2003.
Club president Phil Shellabarger presented
Herb Sessums the Person of the Year
award.
District XI - 2009/12
MARK EWART sent in some pictures and
information about the Float Fly at Scootney
Lake sponsored by the Weaver Field RC
Flyers of Othello, Washington. He was only
able to attend one day but reported that there
were 36 registered pilots on Saturday and
approximately 60 airplanes on deck.
