District XI Report - 2005/04
ON AUGUST 21-22, 2004, the third annual
Dawn Patrol and Classic Aeroplane Racing
event was held at Grant Sharp’s field in
Molalla, Oregon. The event is sponsored by
the Northwest RC Aviators.
District XI Report -2004/07
WAYNE VENETZ of Helena, Montana,
sent the following pictures of the Flying
Tigers first float fly which took place on
September 13-14, 2003. The site was Lake
Helena.
District XI Report - 2003/11
JUNE 20-22 found us at the SW Idaho
ScaleMasters Qualifier, held at the Nampa
Model Aviators field. This field is on a
bluff in the middle of a golf course with a
spectacular view. The Idaho Scale
Squadron sponsored the event, and contest
director (CD) Ray Schellekens did a great
job directing this event

AS I WRITE this column on the first of
March, I want to thank all of you for your
cards, letters, and telephone calls. My
daughter Wendy and I appreciate your
support during our recent loss.

AMA News: District XI-2007/12
GARY WEAVER hosted the Labor Day fly-in in
Othello, Washington. As always, Gary made sure
that a good time was had by all.
