As most know, Randy Brown withdrew from the election for District VIII vice president (VP) because of business concerns and recovery from Hurricane Sandy. He and Mark Johnston, who was elected to the position, were my personal selections.

AS I WRITE THIS, I am leaving in less
than two weeks to enjoy AMA’s 75th
Anniversary Celebration in Muncie, Indiana.
It should be a great time, sharing modeling
activities and stories with modelers for four
straight days.

FLYING IS in full swing across the district.
Nearly every club has scheduled or ongoing
events and I receive daily invitations. Often I
cannot accept because of multiple activities
with more than 250 clubs in the district.
