I HAVE BEEN up to my ears in FAA
work, closing a hobby shop, and moving my
wife’s business to a new building, so I have
only been flying a couple of times and
attended a swap meet.

and I’m only one month into my term as
vice president!

HOPE EVERYONE has survived the
winter well. We should be getting back in
the full swing of flying soon.
District VIII - 2008/07
THE WEAK SIGNALS Toledo Show was
good once again with many new products
and much trading and buying on the floor
and in the swap meet area.
I attended my first Safety Committee
meeting on Monday after the show and can
say I am proud to serve with this group of
diversely talented folks. I consider the
members professional and thoughtful.

I TRAVELED to Greenville, South
Carolina, but never got out to the Joe Nall. I
spent two days in a conference room with
Rich Hanson and his work group in a faceto-
face discussion with the FAA.
