APRIL 13-15 saw the Southern California
Scale Masters Qualifier hosted by the
Hemet Model Masters (AMA chartered
club 1376) and ably directed by Bill Hart.
District X Report - 2007/11
MARC KARPOWICH, associate vice
president (AVP) in Utah sent in the following
report:
“Where did the summer go? As I am
writing this, it seems as though we just left
winter behind and now Labor Day is but a
week away.
District X Report - 2005/04
FROM FRANK MURRAY comes a report
about a most unusual incident.
“Greetings from what is now the frozen
northlands of Nevada. I’m a member and the
safety officer of the Sierra Sagebrush Flyers,
an AMA-sanctioned club in Gardnerville,
Nevada. I have a most unusual tale to tell of
an in-flight incident that occurred last fall.
District X Report - 2004/07
THROUGHOUT MY YEARS as vice
president of District X, I have had the
pleasure of awarding many prestigious
awards. All have been well deserved;
certainly the AMA Fellow Award marks
AMA’s highest recognition for lifetime
modeling achievement and contribution to
aeromodeling and the Academy of Model
Aeronautics.
