District VII Report - 2005/02
THERE ARE three items I want to bring
to the District VII column this month. First
of all, as you may know by now, Dave
Brown has been reelected as AMA
president for three more years.
Congratulations to Dave.
Approximately 15% of the total eligible
voters saw fit to cast their ballots. Three
years ago it was only 12%. The point I
want to make is that it takes all of the
membership working together to keep our
hobby sport growing, not just a small
percentage.
District VII - 2006/07
I HAVE BEEN asked many times during
my tenure as your representative to the
AMA Executive Council why this club or
that club is never mentioned. Well, this is
not a difficult question to answer.

During my tenure as an AMA district vice
president I’ve had much fun gathering
information for the columns.

My columns are written mostly about RC
events. This is because events other than RC
are rarely sent to me. We all know that there
are helicopter, Soaring, electric, and CL
events held nearly every weekend
somewhere during our flying season.
