AHH, SPRING, “when a young man’s
fancy turns to thoughts of …” whatever a
young man’s fancy turns to. For me it’s a
start to another new flying season and an
opportunity to get out to visit flying sites
and the District VII membership.

WELL HERE IT IS—another month
already, and for me a great one. I’m sure
there are members who read this column
who can relate to what I recently went
through. Suffice to say I now have a very
different outlook on life.

IT APPEARS my request for club and
community inter action is starting to pay
off. The Manitwo Flyers Ltd. of Two
Rivers, Wisconsin, was able to partner
with the local community action program,
the Lakeshore C.A.P.

AS I WRITE this month’s column, there is
a slight chill in the air. It’s a reminder that
fall is just around the corner, and
unfortunately, winter as always will soon
follow. But for now that is another story.

I AM LOOKING for someone who might
be interested in serving as a volunteer on the
AMA Publications Committee, which I
chair. This person should have experience in
computer graphics, a background in
publishing, and, of course, be a modeler.
