THE AMA Executive Council will be
participating in a strategic planning meeting
in February to create an agenda and a set of
short-term and long-term goals for our
organization. Those of you who frequent our
District II Web site forum or are members of
our district E-mail list know that I am
looking for your input to take with me to
this meeting.
District II - 2006/07
DOES YOUR CLUB participate in AMA’s
Introductory Pilot Program? Are you an AMA
Introductory Pilot Instructor? If you’ve
answered yes to either of these questions,
you’ve probably noticed that there have been
some major changes to this longtime program.

MA members who joined the
association for the first time in
1980 or later haven’t known a
time when retiring AMA president Dave
Brown hasn’t served on the AMA Executive
Council.

Gary Fitch is one of our
most active associate
vice presidents (AVPs)
and travels extensively
throughout his area of
our district each season.

travels was the quality
and craftsmanship of
some of the models
flown by the members in
our district.
