One Eighth Air Force club reported on the
the club’s Scale Fly-in that took place
October 28-29 at Superstition Airpark in
Mesa, Arizona, home of the Arizona Model
Aviators.

DISTRICT X Associate Vice President
(AVP) Darlene Frederick shared these
photos of the 2002 FAI Scale Team. Darlene
served as manager for the team as they
competed this past July in the 2002 Scale
World Championships in Tillsonburg,
Ontario, Canada. The Radio Control (RC)
team placed eighth overall and the Control
Line (CL) team placed fourth.

After many months of failing health, Kai
Jensen of Reno, Nevada, passed away.
